Guided Group Conversations
Bring the Conversation to Your Community
Some of the most powerful moments in aging well happen in community — when people who know and trust each other start talking honestly about what they want the years ahead to look like.
Guided Group Conversations brings that experience to groups who already have a relationship. Whether it’s a family group, a workplace team, a book club, a group of longtime friends, or an organization serving older adults — if your group is ready to explore the topic of aging intentionally, I’ll design and lead a series built specifically for you.
What to Expect
Each series is custom-designed based on your group’s interests, needs, and the time you have available. Sessions are engaging, interactive, and grounded in the Aging by Design framework — without requiring any prior knowledge or preparation from participants.
A typical series includes:
- A framing conversation about what it means to age intentionally
- Guided discussion and reflection activities tailored to your group
- An introduction to key concepts from the 12 Foundations
- Space for honest conversation in a safe, supported environment
- Optional follow-up resources or next steps for participants
Most groups meet over four weeks or more, depending on your goals and availability.
Who This Is For
Guided Group Conversations work well for:
- Social groups or circles of friends ready to have a deeper conversation
- Workplaces supporting employees approaching retirement
- Organizations serving adults 55+ looking for quality programming
- Any group of 8 or more adults who want a guided experience
