Aging by Design
Reconnect with what matters. Reimagine what’s possible. Bring more of what you want to life.
About the 10-Week Experience
Aging by Design is a guided 10-week experience for women, mostly in their late 50s and 60s, who may already have a good life and still find themselves wondering what else they want from it.
Sometimes that curiosity is a sign that the things you care about aren’t quite the same as they used to be. You may find yourself wanting to explore new possibilities, give more attention to what matters most, or make more room for the things that bring you meaning, energy and enjoyment.
Aging by Design gives you a chance to step back from the day-to-day, think about what you want from this part of your life, and begin bringing more of what matters into it, one step at a time.
By the end of ten weeks, you’ll have chosen something you want more of in your life, started doing it, and have a small group of women who’ve inspired and supported you along the way.
How Aging by Design Works
1 - Start with you
During the first two weeks, you’ll take some time to think about what you want from this part of your life and what you want it to look and feel like.
2 - Take a wider look
The 12 Foundations help you take a wider look at your life and the different areas that can influence how healthy, connected, engaged and fulfilled you feel.
The important thing to remember is that the Foundations are prompts, not prescriptions. They’re there to help you notice what’s working, what may deserve more attention, and possibilities you may not have considered before.
3- Choose your direction
You may decide that one of the Foundations is where you want to focus, or you may identify something else in your life that feels more important right now.
You choose the direction.
From there, you’ll create a practical path that fits your life and begin putting it into action. As you go, you’ll have time to see what works, make adjustments, and build confidence and momentum with support around you.
The 12 Foundations
Movement & Strength – Nourishment & Energy – Rest, Sleep & Renewal – Presence & Inner Calm – Purpose – Meaning & Growth – Connection & Belonging – Emotional Resilience – Joy, Fun & Play – Creativity & Self-Expression – Nature & Surroundings – Contribution & Service – Life Beyond Work.
Something you can come back to
What you learn through Aging by Design can stay with you well beyond the 10 weeks. It gives you a way to step back, take stock and find your direction again whenever life changes or you feel the need to reassess your priorities.
The value of doing it together
There’s also something valuable about going through an experience like this with other women who are asking some of the same questions.
You’ll hear different perspectives, share ideas, learn from one another and have support around you as you begin putting your own path into practice.
And along the way, you’ll get to know some new people too. Sometimes those connections end when a program does. Sometimes they turn into friendships that continue long after.
Your Aging by Design Experience
________________________
The first Aging by Design group this fall includes ten online sessions and three in-person gatherings in Sault Ste. Marie.
The group is limited to 12 women, no more.
That keeps it small enough for real conversation, individual attention, and the chance to hear what’s working for others, while leaving you free to decide what feels right for you.
In the programs I’ve run before, made up entirely of women, the group has consistently become one of the best parts of the experience.
And it doesn’t end when the ten weeks do. The group reconnects at a 30-day reunion, and many women carry the connection forward long after.
What’s included:
Your $497 investment includes:
- The complete 10-week Aging by Design experience with weekly live online sessions, guided reflection, discussion and support.
- A printed Aging by Design Participant Guide in a binder that you can write in, reflect on and continue to use.
- Your own My Path, a personal roadmap that develops throughout the program.
- Two private 30-minute one-to-one sessions with me.
- Four weeks dedicated to putting your path into practice, learning what works and building momentum.
- Three planned in-person gatherings in Sault Ste. Marie: a welcome gathering before the program begins, a get-together around the midpoint, and a 30-day reunion after the final session.
- The opportunity to repeat the core program once in the future, subject to space.
My commitment to you
I want you to finish Aging by Design with a direction you feel comfortable pursuing.
If you participate fully and reach the end of the 10 weeks without feeling clear about where you want to go next, I’ll continue working with you one-to-one at no additional cost until you have a path you feel ready to move forward with.
Because completing the program isn’t the real goal.
The goal is to leave with greater clarity about what matters to you and a meaningful next step you’re ready to take.
