Hi, I’m Lou Derrer. I’m really glad you’re here. Whether we’re out on the trail or taking part in any activity together, my goal is to make sure you feel safe, supported, and have a great time.

Do I have to be 55+ to join the group?
This group was created for men and women 55 and older in the Sault and surrounding area. That said, if you’re approaching 55 and are interested in activities designed with older adults in mind, you’re welcome to join us.
Can I bring my adult children on a walk or hike?
Yes. Adult children are welcome to join, provided they sign and submit a waiver before attending. For safety and group fit, it’s preferred that participants be 20 years of age or older.
Can I bring a friend or family member?
Yes! Friends and family are welcome, as long as they’ve signed and submitted a waiver before joining an activity. Please also share the group guidelines and trail information with them so they can make an informed decision before participating.
Can I bring my dog on a walk or hike?
For safety and comfort of all participants, dogs are not permitted on
group walks or hikes.
